Alvamere is situated in the residential heart of Keswick, a mere 3 minutes walk from the shops.

From M6 motorway: Turn off at Junction 40 (Penrith) and head along the A66 towards Keswick (about 14 miles). Take the first turn into Keswick and head towards the town centre (beside the river Greta). * You will see the war memorial on your right at an obvious cross roads. Turn left here and immediately left onto Southey Street. Take your fourth turn left and the cottage is situated on the right - 12 Church Street

From the Central Lakes - Ambleside & Windermere: Head towards Keswick on the A591 and drop down the hill towards town. Follow the instructions from the asterix above.
